Sprite comics are web comics that use video game
The major difference is that in pixel art comics the sprites used are wholly or mostly created for the comic, rather than being pulled from video games.

Gened Course Proposal - Game Creation
Different games are explored from a theoretical point of view, while students develop original scenarios for their own games.
Moreover, students will create a game of their choosing using "Game Maker".
Consequently, in this course, students will be asked to implement simpler games of their own choosing, such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders, or simple platform games.

He ducks and whirls his head around until he spots it on a bookshelf, right next to a copy of the programming linguistics textbook he cowrote, and gives a satisfied smile.
The result may not be suitable for the marketplace "as is," but it certainly bares the idea's strengths and weaknesses.
But if computer science is going to shed its old, tired traditions and become a discipline that helps propel the next century, it's going to require professors like David Gelernter and projects like Lifestreams.

 Spirits of Another Sort
Rods are more numerous than cones in the periphery of the retina, so you can see sprites best when you're not looking directly at them.

Sometimes, the notion of a sprite is restricted to an image that can move around the screen.
A glyph is a sprite which displays the image or part of an image associated with a character.
The page images must be placed so that the page sides are printed correctly and the sheet can be cut up and the page sets folded.

Knowledge King - 2D computer graphics
In 2D computer graphics, the computer screen may be considered as a canvas on which an image is drawn or composed.
2D computer graphics typically do not involve the need for any kind of three-dimensional internal representation of objects or lighting characteristics in the computer; that field is customarily reserved for 3D computer graphics.
The term may also refer to the field of study or practice of two-dimensional computer graphics methods as a whole.

 Master's Proposal
There are several projects going on in the world today, to help in the translation from one language to another using a computer (Machine Translation) [7-10].
The goal of the masters project is to create a prototype computer program where the user will be able to type in a basic English sentence (in English word order) and have the computer sign that sentence back in American Sign Language (in ASL order).
Current research seems to point out that there is no straight forward technique that will give accurate translation, however there are methods that can give very good results [4-13].

Gary Westfahl's Bio-Encyclopedia of Science Fiction Film: D.C. Fontana
However, she has received more attention for authoring the still-unavailable computer game, Secret of Vulcan Fury, featuring the vocal talents of the original Star Trek cast.
Although she stumbled into a lifelong association with science fiction through the happenstance of working as a secretary to Gene RODDENBERRY, which led to her writing first for his series The Lieutenant (1963-64) and then for Star Trek, Fontana had no real aptitude for science fiction.
She certainly didn't know much about science, as evidenced by the trite Kirk-outwits-the-computer plot of “The Ultimate Computer," mortifyingly naïve even in the context of the embryonic technology of the 1960s.
