He is voiced by Katashi Ishizuka or Toshiyuki Morikawa in many of the games he appears in.
Ryu (リュウ or 隆 Ryū, meaning Prosperity in Japanese) is a video game character created by Capcom, and is the main character of the Street Fighter series.
As a student of Gouken, Ryu was one of the participants of the first World Warrior tournament.

These versions were basically unplayable (Ryu could just fill the screen with fireballs and then just wait until they all hit the opponent - who had no escape) so Capcom released their own official modified version.
Other than that that game pretty much remains unchanged and all the features from the Champion Edition remain.
The Champion Edition of Street Fighter 2 was eventually hacked, which meant modified versions of the game started appearing in the arcades.

What I can say about the game is that the graphics really seem to suffer on the PS2 (having never seen the arcade version, I can’t confirm it looks any better but I think that would be the case) but the control is pretty tight.
This particular soundtrack is from the Korean version of the game.
I’m a late bloomer into this game, just recently picking it up and messing around with it for the sake of this update.
