As with many games of its ilk, the story is there, but it's mostly peripheral to the gameplay.
BEA also dishes up a "goodies" tree, with tons of unlockables, such as concept art (including items in the game as well as others that didn't make the cut), 3D models of the various craft in the game, profiles of the main characters, and the game's many cutscenes.
Particularly in the Evo levels, the instinct is to take on the first thing you come across, though that decision may end up leading to a mission failure (or two or three…) because you devoted your attention to the wrong battle.

There was an adapter to play Japanese HuCard games on US systems, but it's now quite hard to find.
At the time, the tiny HuCards could only hold 2 Megabits of data, so the game had to be released in 2 parts, each containing 4 levels.
It didn't set Japan on fire as you might have expect, but steadily gained in stature, and the games became more and more impressive.

Even though the majority of TG-16/PCE games were at or under 4 megabits, the TG-16/PCE boasts one of the finest (both in quality, and quantity) game libraries in existance.
It's the first complete non-sanctioned English translation of a PC Engine game ever.
Superior to both the SNES and Genesis translations, in my opinion, this game has some minor graphical glitches under Magic Engine 0.91, but it's still quite playable despite the four-button limit (controlled in the same way as the Genesis version).

Any games I translate will likely be PC Engine or PC-FX games, since I enjoy those systems and there don't seem to be enough translations out there for them.
While searching for text and translating it to english could be a tough job, at least it appears that PC-FX games can accept ASCII for more compressed text messages, without the same trouble that PC Engine games usually have.
I also did a quick test on Lunatic Dawn, a PC-FX game.

I use YAME and Magic Engine to play the ISO/WAV prefectly.
I play my games in magic engine when i mountet them with daemon tools (if you need sound you should also convert the mp3 files to wav and add them with winiso to the iso file)
I've d/l a possibly new version of Magic Engine from the groups, not sure what the old version was however and I'll have to wait until I get home to find out which one I do have

Some US Turbo Grafx games were encrypted so they could not be read by Japanese PC Engine consoles.
If you're using DOS, Magic Engine is the way to go if you're willing to pay the price, otherwise, Hu6280 does an excellent job of emulating the console, and is updated much more often.
Without split image support, a game would be missing backgrounds, characters, and other crucial graphics.

If you have an original white Pc engine Hu Card machine (these are Japanese machines only) then you will notice that on the side of the machines is a small port where you plug in an RF lead.
Even if you have a core Grafx II or any other version of the Pc engine machines that have the AV outputs we still recommend you get it converted to Rgb as the picture quality is so much better then AV or RF.
So what you need to do to get the machine up and running in full colour is get the machine converted to Rgb scart which is the best picture you can display.
