 Interview with Myrkul
Myrkul: In late summer a concept started floating around about a "Mod Alliance" for Q3A, where the people who were behind the best mods of Q2 would collaborate and share a common set of levels, models, sounds and code across mods.
For those of you who don't know, Myrkul is the man behind the popular Expert mod for QuakeWorld and Quake 2.
Myrkul: I wouldn't have joined if the source wasn't going to be public.

DnL Forums - PVP and the UDL
I thought it was dumb enough for UDL to bring Myrkul into all the games they have, especially SB.
A game should be played for it's own sake, and not be turned into something that was never envisaged, otherwise the developers have wasted their time providing all the rich history to roleplay in.
Now if you bring Myrkul or what ever he's called to this game, you WILL be a fanatic guild, not godsent prophets.

Myrkul - Return to The Temple of Elemental Evil
Myrkul took care that all mortals thought of him often - he was even known to materialize beside open graves, scythe in hand, just to gaze around at gathering mourners for a few silent seconds before fading away, in order to remind everyone that he was waiting for them all.

Much to Myrkul’s dismay the Knights didn’t succeed in catching the Wyrm.
It is through Balketh and his elite platoon of 13 spies (the Skeletal Warrior of this platoon will be detailed later) that the Knights know what is going on in the world around them.
Talos wants to use the knights to go forth and destroy as much as they can before being destroyed, but the Knights still wants to finally defeat the Wyrm.

However, Jergal resolved their dispute with a game of chance, and the succession was eventually decided thus: Bane took the portfolio of hatred, strife, and tyranny, Myrkul that of the dead, and Bhaal that of death and murder.
The three forged a pact to achieve godhood or die trying.
He then asked which among them would rule, at which point a fierce argument broke out among the three.

Thus, they allied with the sorcerer to create a two-way portal from the Arch of Goolgog to the center of the valley called the Battle of Bones.
In the Battle of Bones, the portal is continuously active, but very few living creatures spend a lot of time in that accursed valley, so attention has not been drawn to the portal there as of this time.
