Dragon Crest - A live action role playing game.
Role playing games are games in which the players basically develop a character persona (much as an author develops characters for a book or story) and act it out.
By playing this game, or by consenting for your child to play it, you risk these kinds of injuries, just as you would in any other sporting or camping activity.
This is facilitated by someone who is in charge (often referred to as the game master or the storyteller) developing the plot line and presenting the players with situations where they can act out their roles.

Each player is required to memorize the rules that his or her character uses during the game.
As with any LARP game, there are an infinite number of ways to cheat at Magestry and maybe some loopholes in the rules.

 Live Role-Playing Game FAQ
Most live games involve a large number of players (from thirty to several hundred at a time) who walk around and talk with each other, acting out as much of their characters' actions as are allowed within the rules.
Many people who play these games have played tabletop roleplaying games, but many others have not.
Most games are set up so that it isn't possible for everyone to "win" all the time.

A Live Action Role Playing Game, or LARP, is quite simply a role playing game where instead of sitting around a table playing on a board, you dress up and move around and really get into character.
As your game progresses, encourage your players to develop their characters and then reward them for doing so, and try your best to integrate that into your chronicle.
Decide upon your game mechanic and establish how you wish to keep track of the players' characters and assemble it before you accept any concepts from your players.

In role-playing games, live-action refers to games in which the players physically act out their characters, as if in a theater production, as opposed to sitting around a table and simply describing the actions their characters take.
See Live action role-playing game for more details.
It is an important distinction, however, in situations where one might normally expect animation, as in a Disney movie, a video game, or when the work is adapted from an animated cartoon, such as the Flintstones or Josie and the Pussycats movies, or The Tick television show.
