 IGN: Game Boy Review
King of Swing doesn’t have continue barrels like DKC, so if you fail a level, you must start it all over again, very annoying if you passed a difficult area and you now have to pass it again.
Some parts of the game are also a bit frustrating, requiring you to get through some areas as quickly as possible (the last world is a very good example of this), and the frantic rush means your bound to make a mistake that costs you your life.
DK: King of Swing made it’s debut at E3 2004, but has only been available in Japan and Europe; only recently has the game been released in the US, a year and a half after it was announced.

Donkey Kong - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Donkey Kong is slated for several games on the Nintendo GameCube and the Game Boy Advance.
In 1994, Nintendo produced a remake of the original game for the Game Boy (known under the informal title of "Donkey Kong '94" to disambiguate it from the original) which contained 97 new stages (most of which were puzzle-oriented) in addition to the original four from the Arcade game.
Some sources, such as Nintendo Power, suggest that the Donkey Kong in the Country series was the son of Cranky Kong, the original Donkey Kong from the arcade game, which would equate him with Donkey Kong Junior.
